Manchester is one of the World’s top destinations, and it’s no surprise why. The city is a jam packed with reasons to visit, from its leading art and culture, inspired food and drink, extensive shopping, Christmas markets, music scene, vibrant nightlife, museums, and galleries, and obvs - the sport. Manchester United's Old Trafford is less than 12 minutes away, and Manchester City's Etihad Stadium is less than 10 minutes away.

If in addition to being a spectator - being sporty is your thing, we've got you covered. There are multiple gyms within walking distance of the hotel, yoga and fitness studios, Bodybarre and boxing classes or scenic urban running routes along the canal paths.

LEVEN Manchester is at home in the city’s vibrant village district, centered around Canal Street, bustling with a unique atmosphere and a tonne of restaurants, bars, pubs and clubs and within easy walking distance of the Northern Quarter, China Town, Piccadilly Station, and city center shopping. There are too many to choose from, but we gave it a shot and here are a few of our favourite local haunts.
